Open the Usage settings in ChatGPT or Codex to see which limit you've hit, how many credits you have left, and when your limits reset.

In an active Codex CLI session, type /status to see the status for that session. A public history site like this one can't read your personal usage.

Is the reset time on my Usage page the same thing as a public reset?

No. Your own reset time comes from your account and usage cycle. A public reset is an extra, broad reset on top of that.

A reset was announced. Why haven't my limits come back in the app or on the web?

Check who the announcement covers and look at your own Usage page. If your limits still haven't reset after the time shown there, contact OpenAI Support.
