Why doesn't this site show a public reset countdown for Grok?

Grok counts subscription, web and API limits separately. There's no single reset time for everyone.

One product name can cover several plans and usage pools. Labeling one account's or one API's reset time as "the countdown for all Grok users" would be misleading.

We currently track global resets for Codex only. The Grok page explains how its limits work.

How does the countdown work when only a date or a range is announced?

The countdown runs to the start of the announced range, with the full range shown alongside. With no date announced, there's no countdown.

Is the reset time on my Usage page the same thing as a public reset?

No. Your own reset time comes from your account and usage cycle. A public reset is an extra, broad reset on top of that.
